double double toil and trouble

When I was younger, I ALWAYS wanted a twin. I thought that having someone that looked JUST LIKE ME was the trippy-est thing ever and would make for good pranks (I was very conniving) and good times. Of course, nowadays, I bump into hundreds of my twins on a regular basis due to the fact that "all asians look alike." (Note those quotations. ALL ASIANS DON'T LOOK ALIKE, FOO'.)

Also, I was mildly (read: extremely) obsessed with the Olsen twins, so I was basically their extra, modest twin. I was that quiet one, you know, in the back of their music videos and detective shows munching on crunchies and bopping my scrunchie-induced hair to their swagger and I don't even know what I'm saying. I just really liked the Olsen twins...

In conclusion, HEY LOOK IT'S MY TWIN!

I still can't decide if this look is aesthetically pleasing or if I look like children's artwork vomited in clothing form. Probably the latter because, well, just because.

Just as a "fun fact"... This dress is a size 10! Kids! Aw, aren't I cute?! It's one of those fabrics that stretches an unusual amount but SHH... you don't have to know that! I'm tiny. I'm a baby. I'm cute. Googoogaga. (I sometimes wish I were a baby. Babies bring out the children in adults, particularly evident with ridiculously st00pid baby sounds that, as basically a baby, I would find simultaneously hilarious and offensive and wonderful.)

This is an exemplar of my essential "go to outfit." How does one conduct a "Lexy's go to outfit"? you may ask. "Well," I will answer with a modest smile, secretly pleased with your inquiry, "It simply requires bright tights, a dress, a bright blazer, piles of bangles and an optional scarf/ statement necklace. And then BAM, you be out the door in a flash. THEY WON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT HIT THEM. BAM." (the second bam was for good measure to emphasize the go-to-ness (?) of said outfit. Bam. Bambambam.)

Hope life is feeling very merry! Get it? Merry? Because of, you know, Christmas? And you say "Merry Christmas"? No? Whatever. Evidently, my humour is FAR TOO SOPHISTICATED for you little people. Pfffft.

What's your go-to outfit?
(I know. A really deep question. Shed a few tears if you need to. I won't judge you.)

My go-to outfit? Honestly, it would be a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Just too convenient!

If I was wanting to dress up, I would put on an oh-so-sophisticated top, a nice swishy billowy skirt, and a pair of boots. That sounds more like an outfit you would like!

my go to outfit is leggings and a big sweater, I wear this uniform when I'm at home relaxing!

I have older brothers who are twins, it's like having a hurricane in your house

Children's clothing in vomited form or not, you look like you've got some swagggg, gurlll. I'm digging all the colors and your rad tights and scarf! 8D

My to go to outfit? A black pleated skirt and colorful tights and whatever shirt I feel like. YEAH. That's it. xD

Having twins could be awesome but then again I'd hate to have two of me as well, Im selfish you see =) LOL so Im glad I wasn't born a twin or else it'd be hell for my parents!!!

haha you really get used to having gel nails, I've had mines for a year and after two weeks of them I already learned how to button my jean buttons and type properly lol, I do avoid bringing my laptop to class since it does make a loud "tapping" noise =P well too bad for my classmates haha

Are two lexys better than one?
i'm thinking yes.
Especially bright color pattern mixing lexys.
And i used to imagine how fun it would be to have a twin so i could prank people all the time. yeah, it would have been awesome.

To answer your question, my camera is a canon xsi.

Brilliant outfit, I love the tights and the shoes. Very fun outfit. Also, I was so like you and always wanted a twin (maybe cause I had close childhood friends that were twins and I wanted to pull pranks on people...). Thanks for your super sweet comment on my blog, I love the snow too, I took (most of) the photos with my SLR. xo

I've never really wanted a twin, since my older sister apparently looks just like me so I guess I alreadey have a twin. I love your scarf. I'm really into scarves, I have 2. D:

And it's strange because I like how North Hemispherers write there words. I usually find myself accidently writing in American-English sometimes, it's probably 'cos all the books I read come from America. I like books.

P.S: Nice shoes!

I wonder who your twin gets their great and unique sense of style from? i think she takes alot after her sister :)) your exemplar "go-to-outfit" is no exception.

Is it a bad or great thing that some of these pictures made my mind start going "I whip my HAIR back and forth"?
I'd like to say great, but you never know who hates that song or not. xD
And OGH I totally used to wish I had a twin, too. I figured it was the best, and we'd be the whole total opposites but have that twinsy-telekinesis thing in common. Haha, oh I was/am so weird.

I like how your go-to outfit seems to match your twin's go-to outfit. Curious.

PS: I finally (yes, finally) answered those questions you asked a few months ago. If you're still interested, you should check them out in my latest post.

AND YOU SAY THAT MY BLOG IS FILLED WITH UNICORNS AND RAINBOWS ! THIS BLOG POST ALONE MAKES ME WANT TO SPEW THE COLOURS OF THE RAINBOWS :D :D LOL. But actually, a lot of my friends tell me that my blog is like rainbows cos I alternate colours so much - I FEEL LIKE THE BLACK IS TOO BORING ;A; ..so when I was thinking up ideas of a new header, I contemplated having a picture of me and then photoshopping it so it looked like I was spewing a rainbow ;'D ! LOL anyway ....

I WANTED A TWIN TOO. Except I wanted a guy twin. You know why? Because I was a really weird kid who always thought "what happens if my twin sister is cooler than me? WHAT HAPPENS IF SHE STEALS MY BOYFRIEND? What happens if MY BOYFRIEND CANT TELL THE DIFFERENCE AND GOES OUT WITH BOTH OF US ;A;" - uh yeah, I was really odd kid ...hahaha. But supposedly, I was sposed to be a twin? eh I don't know.

My go to outfit is tights, black skirt and grey jacket and whatever shirt :D Ah but its Summer in Aus and wearing tights is kind of hot now ;<

I love your bright tights! Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. My go-to outfit involves a big comfy sweater and some type of leggings with boots. I always find myself gravitating towards that when I'm in the mood to be comfortable. =]

I love your tights! You pull off color so well. I think my go-to outfit is a grey leopard print dress that I've been rocking forever - it's really comfy but also stylish and whenever I can't think of what to wear, it's my fall back.
