smelly cat, smelly cat, what are they feeding ya?

lajsdla. hi gyuys im so druink righgt nwow. JOKES. That was a JOKE. (I know, I know - underage drinking is NOTHING to joke about.) (In complete honesty, I was typing that very line with my ELBOW to feign drunkenness.) (hey, let's have some fun. I DOUBLE DARE YOU to type your comment with your elbow. No cheating by purposefully stumbling your fingers on the keys. I will install a webcam onto your computer to ensure that this does not occur.) (No, no I won't.)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
But yes. It is a Friday night (not that it feels any different from, say, a Tuesday night in the dear, ole' summer) and I'm typing this instead of, you know, "getting sooo wasted and bangin' all these hawt chicks." (Utilize your imagination to convert such words from "dude talk" to "chick talk." Google Translators are allowed.)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
My Friday nights are often void of plans. It's become the normalcy. I get these invites to parties at my school via Facebook (I don't know why. I must be on the mailing list or something.) and I'm like, "Meh." And then I hear the recounts on Monday, "OH MY GOD. Such a good party. I don't remember ANYTHING. I woke up with a huge hangover."... Oh, gotta love the good times you don't remember!
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
This post isn't anything about the dangers of teen drinking or too much partying or insisting we discuss Pythagorean Theorem RIGHT NOW (I prefer Saturday night for the latter! Join me?). Go ahead and do whatever you want! (Quite frankly, I think I should be snorting stuff up and singing Cherry Bomb in my panties.) (Yes, I just watched the Runaways.) (I don't actually think I should be snorting stuff up and singing Cherry Bomb in my panties.)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
Dialogue that once occurred: Friend - "Are you going to ____ party?" Me - "No." Friend - "Oh. So what do you usually do on weekends?" Me - "Umm... nothing really..." Actually... not true. I hang out with my imaginary friends and we go on long walks on the beach! (THAT'S NOT TRUE... we prefer the mountains...) But really. I do DO things. Just not things that my fellow peers like. Just things I like - sewing, drawing, biking, people-watching... (which basically amounts to nothing.) (Aw, don't say that, Lexy!)
Image and video hosting by TinyPic
I guess that's one of the things that makes high school so blah. I don't like the same things as many people. Not that I don't find recounts of people's stupidity amusing... I just don't like it. Personally. I get that it's normal. I don't care. I just don't like it. BAM.

(Denim Jacket - Value Village $8, Yellow Shirt - Thrifted $1, Skirt - Homemade, Belts - Thrited $1 each, Necklace - Aldo $10, Shoes - Aldo)

Final year is starting in less than two weeks. Contrary to the exhausted pessimism in this post (it's no longer Friday night, but Saturday morning), I'm actually excited. Ish. But maybe that's because it has to do with the prospect of leaving...

Ah, the future is starting to scare me. But mostly EXCITE ME. I need to meet more people like me!

Can I get a worrrrrrrd?
(That's what the cool kids in high school say! AW YEAH I'M COOL NOW.)

I wasn't popular or anything in high school. by the time we all got to grade 12 people did seem to chill out a bit and things weren't so typical anymore. that being said, life after high school is still like a hogillion times better.

but you seem sooo cool and super cute. i bet all the boys secretly love you.

That skirt is homemade? Honest to god, you are a JEAN-IUS. (Ya see what I did there? 'cause you're wearing a jean jacket! oh guffaw, right!? hehehehehe).

Come to UBC for school next year--we can be Value Village 50% off buddies together!

I liked high school--the last 3 years, (HATED THE FIRST 2) but AM SO SO SO STOKED TO BE STARTING UNIVERSITY!
Not to down your hopes, Lexy, but if I was going back to high school come two weeks, I would s'not be excited. But don't worry, you only have a year left! Live it up, though!

Your outfit is like a drug. Seriously. I looked at it and my brain became overactive and happy. :D

&also - high school parties aren't really all that great, anyway. I mean, I go the the bar now that I'm 18, but still, it's not that exciting either. Just...something to do. Haha. I mostly dance!

I agree with you on the parties. Not gonna lie, but I never went to them in high school. Not that I even got invited to many, because I wasn't exactly popular and my friends didn't throw those kinds of "let's get super drunk and then high and vomit all over someone's bathroom floor" parties. I mean I hung out a lot with my friends, but friday nights usually meant a good old trip to the local Chapters with it's connected Starbucks, browsing book shelves and sipping coffee with my best friend, or going to the movies. Saturdays were spent hanging out with rentals during the day or shopping or exploring places downtown with my best friend. I mean, I was a real good kid. Even now when I'm in university and I get invited to too many parties during the week, I find that most are rather dull. I've never been the drink drink drink party girl. I prefer intimate dinners with friends or just fun things like going to the beach or the movies, or random exploring.
Yeah, high school was weird, because there just weren't any people who like doing the same things I like. Although I don't want to give off the impression that I don't like parties. I do. I love dancing and blowing off steam, but not often, not as often as most people party.

Anyways, long rambling comment, hahaha.
I love your skirt, pretty incredible pattern. Ooo just saw it's homemade, ummm so INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!

Pretty awesome photos. Night time and flash, right? Ahh it gives off the best effects.

I never go to parties, either. I am the epitome of un-popularness. I go to my friends' birthday parties where we go skating with glowsticks on or watch Harry Potter whilst dressed up in capes and crappily drawn on lightning bolt scars on our heads. :DDD No offense to those people, but I don't see how a party like that would be fun?! I'd like to remember that I got raped if I did, kaythanks!

You look so awesome. I love your hair, it's so flippy and mermaid-like and looks like it's in water. :DD

Okay, that didn't really work out so well... I guess I'll just stick with my fingers for now...
Anyway, as I was trying to say, awesome blog!I dont really like parties either. Instead I like to relax on my weekends (the ones when I dont have to go to work, sigh).I'm actucally doing the Pythagorean Theorem in maths at the moment *sighs*. I dont like maths. I love your modelling (in the pictures). Hair flinging is so much fun. Ha-ha.
Anyway. I think that's all I wanted to say. Sorry for the long post...

hniklop;gfcikmlojuuuufrdhylokoyhgd =o hai I like that Ronald McDonald skirt. People undervalue the process of doing nothing. Heck, next week my plans are full of nothing and I'm completely thrilled! Who needs a wild camping trip when I can photoshop things all the live long day?!

Haha! I used to be obsessed with web-designing, so I learnt HTML/CSS from the internet and that's how I made my layout. Heh.

Anyway, I find it amazing how you can make different prints look good together. You aren't afraid to mix and match and that's what I like. =D

I never really like the party scene either; back in high school I would go to a couple but I'd just be hanging out. Drunk people make great entertainment haha. Cute outfit - love the skirt :)

thanks for your lovely sweet comment by the way!
ha their are those HUUUGEE parties at my school (you know, the kind that feature in 80s teen movies) but i don't tend to get invited because everyone hangs out in cliques outside of school just like inside of school.
my group of friends just do house parties and drink cheap wine and jack daniels. although one time my friend brought this weird mead and it tasted like christmas pudding. haha!
anyway what i'm saying is i'm not one of those party girls even though this comment hasn't been very good at doing that.
oopsies :)
i like the denim jacket :)
