... and by "past", I mean the last two weeks.
Good news: I am back! I am home! Home sweet home. Which also means... daily updates! No more spiratic-no-one-even-cares-about posts. I am home, and have no more summer excursions that force me to leave you guys behind! Check here daily, my friends! (Although, come to think of it, school starts in a few weeks. School = uniforms = no personal style = weekly-not-daily-posts? If I have correctly calculated...)
Bad News: I didn't exactly take the most pictures of my outfits, as promised. Sorry! (Babysitting three children can definitely take away time.) But I still did! Ch-ch-check 'em out...
Plane outfit - I always have an affinity to pack all my favourite clothes when I go away. Therefore, plane outfits are always a challenge because a) I have no clothes left to wear, b) I have to be comfy, c) I refuse to go in sweats... Solution? Boyfriend jeans!
(Shirt - thrifted <$1, Belt - Thrifted $1, Necklace - Value Village $3, Pants - Value Village $7, Shoes- Vintage $34)
Day at the Park - Hot day. Went to the park. The fabric of the raspberry shirt is so light and pretty. I love spinning in it.
(Blouse - Winners $5, Belt - Thrifted $1, Dress - Vintage $5, Shoes - Aldo $10)
In fact, the shirt is so lovely, I lent it to my 4-year-old-cousin's "wedding." Here comes the bride...
Family Photo Day (hahaha) - Don't laugh. The cousins of the family were forced to trudge to Walmart in matching pale-and-denim. I kind of stood out in my ensemble... but that's okay! Bonus of family photos: being from an asian family, we are all very little. Yippee for me... at 5'4.5, I am the tallest! Can I get a woot, woot?
(Shirt - H&M $12, Belt - Thrifted $1, Jeans - Urban Behaviour $20-ish, Jewellry - Assortment)
I-Forget-What-I-Did-Today-Outfit - My new favourite thing is combining hard/soft.. Hard leath-ah (Stella reference to Project Runway Season 5, yo!) and creme sequins today..
(Vest - Peru $17, Sequin Shirt - H&M $10, Jeans - Value Village $7, Belt - Thrifted $1, Jewellry - Assortment)
Shopping! - My cousins (whom are my age, not my little cousins. Just, you know, FYI.) and I love shopping! West Edmonton mall = huge mall. It's pretty much a yearly ritual. Everone was like "Okay, make sure you don't wear too much because we need time to shop." Here's my simple outfit..
(Vest - Peru $17, Yellow cardigan - Old Navy $4, Tank Top - Mum, Belt - Steve Madden $Gift, Skirt - thrifted <$1, Tights - H&M $5, Purse - Value Village $4)
Plane Outfit Home - Bye, bye Alberta!
(Blazer - Thrifted $7, Zebra Tank - F21 $12, Belt - Dad's, Violet Shorts - Aritzia $15)
All in all, Alberta was super fun, as it always is! It's so much fun to hang out with my family. I actually miss the chaos, now that I'm home. How have your summer's been?
